Thousands took the streets of Berlin during the visit of Turkey 's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Berlin. The left wing and Kurdish activists critized Erdogan and his regime for the lack of democracy and human rights in Turkey. During the demonstration symbols of the in Germany banned Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK) were shown by some radical left wing protesters.
Thousands fundamentalist Christians attended the annual "March for life" in Berlin against abortions. The march was accompanied by counter protests of left wing and feminist activists.
Journalists were verbally and physically attacked by the participants of the "March of Life".

About 100 attended a vigil in Berlin in front of the embassy of North Rhine Westphalia. In silent and only a few calm speeches they remind a journalist who died in the Hambacher Forest the day before. The journalist covered the eviction of about 50 tree houses by the police when he fell from one of the trees. The Hambacher forest is going to be cleared by the energy company RWE for the expansion of lignite mining.
Activists of the organization Sealift (Seebrücke) held a rally in front of the German Federal Chancellery as Austrias Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) arrives for a meeting with Angela Merkel. Austria’s coalition of the right ÖVP and the far right FPÖ stands for closed European borders for refugees and an inhuman asylum policy in the European Union.
Activists of the organization Sealift (Seebrücke) held a sit-in on the street in front of Berlin’s famous Mauerpark to protest for sea rescue and against a fortress Europe. Based on the American black movement’s slogan “Say their names” they shouted the names of in the Mediterranean Sea drowned refugees.
