Dozens of activists, among them many refugees, held a rally in front of the seat of the German parliament in Berlin to critizise the asylum policy of the German government. Especially the change of the law which undermines the right of family reunification and the planned central camps for incoming refugees were condemned.

Anti-semitic Quds Day march in Berlin

About 1,000 attended the annual Quds Day march in Berlin. The main goal of the march is the end of the state of Israel. In anti-semitic chants, speeches, and on signs many of the usual anti jewish stereotypes were shown. Among the participants are, as every year, some Rabbis of the jewish sect Neturei Karta who were used to cover up the anti-semitic character of the demonstration. The German conspiracy theorist and leader of the Party "Deutsche Mitte" Christoph Hörstel gave a speech in which he called for an end of Israel.

Hundreds attended a demonstration in Berlin against the annual anti-semitic Quds Day march later this day. The demonstration was organized by left wings groups but also Iranian monarchists joined it. The participants showed Israeli flags and chanted "Free Gaza from Hamas". In speeches they called for solidarity with Israel.

Small groups protested later at the route of the Quds Day march which led to high tension. Riot police seperated the groups. At this protests in solidarity with Israel a flag of Donald Trump's campaign was shown.

Rally in Berlin to free Oleg Sentsov

Ukrainian and Russian activists gathered in Berlin in support of the Ukrainian allegedly political prisoner Oleg Sentsov who serves a 20 year time of prison in Russia. Sentsov started an unlimited hunger strike to free the at least 60 other political prisoners in Russia.

Activists also called for a boycot of the football world championship in Russia and demanded Russia to leave Crimea.

Macedonians protested in Berlin against the renaming of their Republic

Macedonian activists held a rally in Berlin against plans to rename the Republic of Macedonia. As reports say this is part of a compromise between Macedonia and Greece to settle an agreement for an end of the dispute over the name which lasted for more than 20 years. News said the new name is going to be "North-Macedonia".
