Dozens participate a march in Berlin to remind of the victims of slavery and colonialism in the German past. They also urged Berlin's auhtorities to change racist street names.
The annual march took place for the 12th time.
Syrians, among them many refugees, protested in Berlin against the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and his allies Russia and iran. They condemned the sieges of opposition held areas by forces of the regime and called the usage of hunger against civilians a war crime.
The participants knocked with forks and spoons on dishes to symbolize the hunger of the Syrian people.

About 200 Kurds attended a rally at Berlin's Alexanderplatz to protest against the ongoing Turkish aggression in northern Syria against Syrian-Kurdish Afrin (Efrin). In chants they called Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan a terrorist and called any foreign powers to leave Kurdish Rojava.
They also underlined the equality of men and women in the self-managed Kurdish provinces as a counter part of the conservative muslim policy of Ergodan and his AKP.
