Syrian activists held vigil at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to remember the besieged Syrian cities of al-Ghouta and Deir ez-Zor. They condemned the regime of dictator Bashar al-Assad and his allies Russia and Iran.

Thousands of family members are waiting in Greece to oversettle to Germany where their relatives have had granted asylum status. The family reunification is one of the most controversial topics during the coalition talks.
