Fundamentalist-Christian "March for life" accompanied by counter protests in Berlin

Several thousand people took part in the annual, fundamentalist Christian "March for Life" in Berlin. The participants demanded a complete ban on abortions and advocated the preservation of Christian values from a fundamentalist point of view. The AfD politician Beatrix von Storch, MdB, also took part in the opening rally.

The march was accompanied by loud protests from left-wing feminist groups over the entire distance. An hour-long sit-in blockade of the march by counter-demonstrators led to a change in the route, drastically shortening the march.

During the march, participants repeatedly pestered journalists.

Demonstration in Berlin against anti-Semitism and for Israel

November 10, 2018

Around 500 people take part in a rally in Berlin under the motto "Against Anti-Semitism! For Israel! For Jerusalem". The group "March for Life" as well as other Christian groups had called. A group of young people rapped the haTikwa, Israel's national anthem. The main speaker was Arye Sharuz Shalicar, former press officer of the Israeli army.

Participants will use signs to show solidarity with Israel and for an undivided Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Journalists were verbally and physically attacked by the participants of the "March of Life".

Ecumenical Good Friday procession in Berlin

The annual ecumenical Good Friday procession in Berlin was attended by about 250 Christians. Among them were bishop Markus Dröge and archbishop Heiner Koch. The procession was lead by a 3m high cross which was carried by participants. At seven steps in the the center of Berlin speakers reminded the fate of people who were persecuted because of their faith.

About 5,000 fundamentalist Christians attended the annual "March for life" in Berlin against abortions. The march was accompanied by counter protests of left wing and feminist activists. Riot police had to intervene several times to remove activists from the right wing march.

Blockades forced the Fundamentalists to shorten their route. Journalists were verbally and physically attacked by the participants of the "March of Life".
