Protest in Berlin for self-determination of people in need of care

Around 70 people took part in a protest in front of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) in Berlin against the most recent draft law on intensive care by Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU).

According to the activists, the "Act to Strengthen Rehabilitation and Intensive Care in the Statutory Health Insurance System" (RISG) provides for institutional care for ventilated patients. However, this is an unreasonable restriction of their personal freedom and would also lead to premature death for many.

In the end, the activists let white "peace doves" fly to express their desire for a peaceful life.
