Syrians protest in Berlin in front of Russian embassy against attacks on Idlib, Syria

Several hundred people, many of them refugees, took part in a rally in Berlin to protest against the continuing attacks on Idlib in Syria.
In choruses and speeches, they called for a free Syria, an end to the regime of Bashar al-Assad and the immediate withdrawal of his allies Russia and Iran, as well as irresponsible militias like Hezbollah. There were also chants against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Russia, together with the air force of the regime of Syria's dictator Bashar al-Assad, is flying attacks on the province held by rebels.
According to estimates, there are up to three million people in the region, who are largely defenceless against attacks by the regime and its allies. Among them are many members of the opposition who were previously displaced from other parts of the country by the regime to Idlib. Hundreds of thousands of people are now trying to escape the ongoing bombardment by fleeing.
