With various protests, supporters of the overthrown former president of Egypt Mohamed Morsi testified their support with their idol.

After the fall of Hosni Mubarak in the wake of the Arab Spring, Morsi became Egypt's first freely elected president. Morsi, who was close to the Muslim Brotherhood, was overthrown by the military in a coup on July 3rd, 2013 after sustained mass protests by the population.

Mohamed Morsi died on June 17th, 2019.
