Kurds march in Berlin to free PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan

Kurds demanded with a demonstration in Berlin the release of the leader of the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) imprisoned on the Turkish island İmralı .

Speech choirs were directed against the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The police showed a clear presence at the demonstration.

After passers-by provoked the demonstration by showing the so-called "wolf salute" of the right-wing radical Turkish "grey wolves", violent clashes broke out which were quickly ended by the police. At least six people were arrested and the demonstration continued.
